However, if an applicant is unable to apply in person, a representative may submit the
application on their behalf under the following conditions: (Please note: This is applied
only to a representative who needs Korea Visa to enter the country. Also, for spousal
visas, the applicant must apply in person, so this specific category is excluded from
representative applications.)
- Through a Travel Agency Designated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines: You can apply through a travel agency officially recognized by the Embassy.
- When a Family Member Applies on Behalf of Another Family Member: A direct family member can submit the application for another family member.
- When a Member of the Same Travel Group Applies on Behalf of Others: This is a flexible option that includes travel agency staff, tour guides, friends, coworkers, or any other member of the same travel group – there are no strict restrictions on who can represent.
- When a DMW (Department of Migrant Workers) Officer Applies on Behalf of an Applicant for the E-9 (Non-Professional Employment) Visa: Specific to the E-9 visa, a DMW officer can act as a representative.
- When an LGU (Local Government Unit) Officer Applies on Behalf of an Applicant for the E-8 (Seasonal Worker) Visa: For the E-8 visa, an LGU officer can submit the application on behalf of the applicant.
- When Applying via Wexpress: You can also submit your application through the Wexpress courier service.
